Dealing with Knee Cellulite

Cellulite is a condition that never had and obviously never will have a definite answer. If you happen to be one of us who suffer from it, you have probably heard multiple different opinions and thoughts on this subject.

And there is a good reason for this. Although the medicine has developed to great extends, the question of cellulite remains still with no satisfying answer.

If we start by defining cellulite, again we have divided opinions. Some experts say that the amount of fat in our bodies is to blame when it comes to the creation of cellulite.

Others blame the toxins that have the tendency to be attracted to cells easily.

And yet there is also a third group of experts whose opinion is claiming that water retention is to blame for this appearance of cellulite.

No matter what the cause is, what is important is that we know how to define it and what cellulite actually represents.

Knee Cellulite

Cellulite is the appearance of those bumps on your skin. These bumps are actually the cells that are full of fat and push the connective tissue up towards the skin, thus creating these bumps.

The appearance of cellulite can affect both men and women, although it is most commonly found in women.

Other factors such as age or physical condition of the body do not represent a relevant thing for cellulite and they don’t really matter at all. For instance, a very thin and slim person can even suffer from cellulite.

The areas that can be affected by cellulite are different. It can happen in your arms, thighs, abdomen, buttocks, legs, etc.

These areas are places where cellulite is expected and common to happen and are among the most widely common places for cellulite to appear.

However, cellulite can sometimes appear in the strangest places, such as the knees. Cellulite on the knees can be even more ugly, embarrassing and unpleasant to see because the knees are more exposed than other body parts.

Plus, knees are always out in the open and are right there in front of the eyes of many people around us. This is why this can be a pretty nasty thing to experience.

This was beautiful and very well written. I agree with everything in this article. Some other thoughts…
Cellulite has three grades. Exercising, eating healthy,…..it’s all nice, but it’s only one part of the problem. Cellulite is caused by hormones, imbalances, mainly estrogen, insulin, thyroid, prolactin. Secondly, it is genetic. Then lifestyle, eating habits. In my practice, I see clients who are literally gym bunnies and still have cellulite. Technologies…….well all it does swells the tissue, so skin looks much less dimply. Once the swelling subsides cellulite is back. So it is a great money maker. Again, Key is a healthy and balanced endocrine system. And cellulite is not going to jeopardize anyone’s health. Its just little aesthetic flaw saying. We are real humans! Definitely not perfect. But it’s OK because there is much more to life, then chase that perfection for hours in the gym.

Thanks for all the information. It was very helpful. Some other thoughts…
Toned muscles help decrease the appearance of cellulite. Cardio exercises improve blood circulation and help burn fat, as well as help to eliminate waste and fluid retention. But the key is to focus on targeted exercises to make the muscles in the areas affected by cellulite stronger.
